Photographie promotionnelle Burning Heads & Uncommonmenfrommars – Tirage photo
Burning Heads & Uncommonmenfrommars Promotional Photography – Fine Art Print
This promotional photograph brings together Burning Heads and Uncommonmenfrommars during the recording sessions for The Incredible Rock Machine, their split EP released in 2005. The two bands met at Les Subsistances in Lyon to record the album, the first release on Oposite, Burning Heads’ own label.
I was there on assignment for Punk Rawk magazine, documenting the sessions through photography. The musicians also took part in a few playful staged shots, including this mock group fight — a moment that captures the humour and attitude of both bands.
Alongside the photographs, I filmed a short documentary about the recording sessions. It was originally included as a CD-ROM bonus on the split release and is now available on YouTube, with selected excerpts also featured on DIESEL.
This photograph belongs to a three-image series taken during these sessions, available in the DIESEL shop.
